hypothesis (Indian Culture)

Sent list snapshot yahoo email for Ms. Teresa about my hypothesis. For this design research assignment, I choose the theme number 5 (Culture, Space, and Place). Why do I choose this topic? Because I love culture basically, so it's gonna be interesting to express and develop my idea satisfiable, though it's from my country's culture itself or from other country as well. 

I choose Indian Culture as my topic because India has a lot of unique things and different culture. Start from performing arts(dance, music, drama and theatre), cuisine, language, until their cloth/costume. 

My hypothesis is to find out the differences and similarities of the Indian culture between the past and the present. Has it changed? or has it always stay the same until now?

For the pattern, I will choose comparison contrast because it is show the strength and the weaknesses easier. Example, maybe India culture in the past was still use original instrument to dance and nowadays maybe because of being influenced by modern technology, they are using cassette or vcv to dance. Another example, in the way the are clothing, they have the differences how to clothing in the past and the present. It will shows the comparison easily. 

For the research field, maybe I'm going to have questionnaire for Indian in Malaysia. So, the target audience is all Indian in general.
